The FBS International Course: Coordination-Based Training in München 2025. We look forward to seeing you online in August (friday 29th) and September (friday 12th) and then welcoming you to the practical weekend on 20-21 September.

After successful years in other countries in Europe, we very much look forward to bringing this one-of-a-kind course to München.

It is a prerequisite of this course to have read the books Strength Training and Coordination (mandatory) and Anatomy of Agility. (optional).

About The Course

The theoretical part of this high-level course is split into 3 modules (total 18 hours of study material) and includes 2 online live Q&A sessions with Frans Bosch.

The practical part is delivered by Teun Thomassen and another FBS member in a 2-day weekend.

Course equivalent: the study load and learning outcomes of one full university subject. Ensure you start studying the books promptly after purchasing them and begin the online modules as soon as they become available, three weeks before the first online session.

  • Food and drinks will be provided on-site, and coffee will be available for purchase at the on-site cafe.
  • The course is (very) intensive both physically and mentally. You can choose what exercises you want to try and don't want to try, but to get the most out the course we recommend you come prepared for everything. Please bring appropriate sportswear for both practical days. We also recommend that you have BOTH sports shoes for gym-based exercises and football boots or cleats for field-based agility exercises. There will be showers and change room facilities on-site.
  • There will be multiple theory presentations throughout the practical days, so please bring a notebook, tablet or laptop for note-taking.

In order to participate, students have to certify that they are physically fit and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. This waiver will also certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude participation in FBS courses. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please don't hesitate to contact us.

What People Are Saying:

I had a lot of great takeaways. Some good challenges for me and my own thinking. Teun is realizing that he is dealing with a range of people at these courses, from people that are 2-3 years in this profession to coaches that have been around for 20+ years. He caters to both groups well.

Simon Jones (Head of Performance Sydney Roosters)

Sometimes, when you're introduced to theoretical concepts, it can feel a bit overwhelming. But when you start to see some of the principles in practice, it makes a lot more sense. I think that's a great way to get exposed to the FBS methodology. Anyone who is interested in human performance—athlete performance, team performance—whether it's on the strength and conditioning side or on the medical end of the continuum, or anywhere in between, I think it's applicable for anyone interested in improving human movement.

Shane Lehane (Head of Performance, Sydney Swans)

A few of my friends and colleagues had taken FBS courses, and I wanted to try it myself. I took the plunge, and it's been really, really good. Anyone involved in strength, speed, or power sports—and importantly, rehabilitation—I think this is a MUST! You're going to learn some really good skills that will challenge your thinking and enable you to take things to another level. So, I definitely recommend it.

Aaron Sculli (Athletic Performance Coach, New Castle Knights)
